COSTUME PARTY

Last year the Invisible Children International Staff started a traditional "Costume Party" to celebrate Halloween in Gulu, Uganda and this year we thought we'd honor the tradition by throwing the best - all inclusive - costume party Uganda has ever seen. The rain decided to show up early in the night, which kept a lot of staff from attending, but once it let up the DJ kicked the party off with a little Justin Timberlake and things started to warm up.

The night included a lot of dancing, drinks, sweat and crazy costumes. I think it might have been the first time any of the Ugandan staff ever dressed up in a costume and let me just say that they were extremely creative (I have photos to prove it) and made us all laugh. It was seriously one of the best Halloween parties I've ever been too. Yes, ever, I'll say it again, EVER.

Three of the Invisible Children staff dressed up as a Wolf, Elephant & Cowboy. Yep, the Eric the Cowboy has an animal hand puppet. He also has a stuffed platapus placed on his hat. If you look closely you can see some grey fuss, that's the platapus.
