Collision Course
On Friday May 1st, 400+ radical individuals and I were involved in a head on collision with one of the most powerful women in the world.
The “Rescue Riders” idea stemmed from the “Freedom Riders” of the Civil Rights movement. The “Freedom Riders”, a caravan of buses that would travel from town to town and stop in the heart of racially discolored cities. The riders would get off the buses and be met by mobs of hate filled individuals that wanted nothing more than to inflict pain on their fellow man of a different race. Many were hospitalized, some almost killed, but they pushed on because they believed…they believed in a better world where the color of your skin would not provoked injustice against a fellow man. Their fight was impossible. Their peaceful demonstration was mocked and hated against, but they endured hardships that some of us can’t even begin to imagine and now together we’re free.

So on April 25th, over 80,000 people gathered in over 100 different cities in 10 different countries and they joined in solidarity with the child soldiers that are still being held against their will and forced to commit crimes against humanity by a rebel group called the Lords Resistance Army (LRA).
Thousands joined together with one voice: Rescue Joseph Kony’s Child Soldiers.
And the “Rescue Riders” took this voice all the way to Chicago where they collided with one of the most powerful women in the world, Oprah.
An hour after the collision Oprah put the “Rescue Riders” that represented thousands and thousands of children who’ve been abducted in Central Africa on her live show.
