About Me

I graduated college from Southeast Missouri State with my bachelors degree in December of 2004.  I earned a GPA of 3.8, graduating Summa Cum Laude.  Being a first generation college graduate, a lot was expected of me and much encouragement came from family.  I paid 100% of my college expenses on my own.

I started my career in February of 2007 in the Boone Trails District of the Greater St. Louis Area Council.  While there I was promoted to Senior District Executive and served as a Camp Director at Swift High Adventure Base for 3 summers.

My next position was to serve as the District Director in the New Horizons District.  This district was the largest in the council serving over 7000 Youth and having a Friends of Scouting Goal exceeding $400,000.

I was promoted in January of 2014 to a Field Director serving St. Louis City, North St. Louis County, and St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties in Missouri.  I managed 4 districts with 6 staff members.  Here I was really able to see Scouting work in an urban environment.

I accepted another promotion in July of 2014 to lead our districts in Southern Missouri and Illinois.  I moved my family to lead this area encompassing 30 of the council's then 38 counties.  it was in this position where I was promoted to the Assistant Director of Feild Service.

Having 3 children has lead to where my interests are at this present time.  Much of my time is spent being a den leader, coaching baseball, being a soccer dad, and watching gymnastics.

When not doing those I enjoy working on my 93 Corvette project, piddling outside, or serving in my church.
